  • Dairy Queen - Hope, B. C.

The establishment was very busy when we went about 1:00 p.m. here was a big line up, but only one cashier, even though there were plenty of other workers. When we ordered a couple of 6 Meal Deals, we were given a snub, when we asked to get our sundae after we finished our meal. The cashier indicated that they were busy and we should take our sundaes at the same time as our meals otherwise we may have to wait a while later on. We said that we would wait. This establishment did not have a pop fountain where we could go back and get a bit more pop if we wished, ( not like other DQ's... More...

  • Do not get what you pay for

I have always had problems with buying sundaes from the DQ in Richmond, BC & No 3 Rd & Francis. Usually when you buy a large sundae, you get a medium sundae. There are two incident where I was giving a small size which really bothers me. The manager knows but nothing changes. Rarely do you get what you paid for. The staff doesn't seem to apologize or care if the size is too small. They don't weight the sundaes. You don't get what you paid for! Ripping you off. More...

  • Dairy Queen stale peanuts

My husband and I went and ordered Peanut Buster Parfait"s at Dairy Queen, while eating I thought the peanuts tasted stale but didn't say anything until my husband said that it wasn't any good because the peanuts were stale. It was really busy on a Saturday afternoon otherwise we would have taken them back to clerk and asked for a refund. We usually really enjoy these but probably wont go back. More...

  • Sloppy writing on top of $25 cake :(

I was VERY disappointed this year after spending $25 for a ice cream cake for my son's 17th birthday. The regular decorations were great but the custom, "Happy 17th birthday Chris" looked like something my 10 yr old would have written. Of course there was only a young boy working when I picked it up so he would have cared less on my concerns. Being the party was only a few hours out I wasn't going to deny him the cake he asked for. NOT doing it again though having that result. A side note: The flavor was to be mint and it was vanilla/chocolate. More...

  • Really a bad dining experience

We decided to visit a local DQ after a meeting at church on Thursday. The girl who took our order didn't seem to care one way or another if we were there. After taking our order and getting our cups, we found all of the sodas to be flat and the unsweet tea was in the sweet tea urn. The girl simply said that they had mixed them up earlier. The food was marginal at best...lukewarm, missing some of the things that should have been included, and just not very appetizing overall. Some friends of ours came in to eat while we were there and they, too, commented on the flat sodas. Their food... More...

  • False advertising

I live in louisville Ky and have visit 3 different dairy queens in the last week. I order the red velvet blizzard that's advertised all over the sign etc. but the crazy thing is no stores carry it. I've heard the same thing from all 3 stores "we don't have any cream cheese icing for the blizzard". I could understand being out for the day or maybe even two but the store in fern creek hasn't had any in a week. I feel like that's bad business - if you don't have it don't advertise it. More...

  • Customer Complaint

We just visited your location on 1126 Union Avenue Laconia,NH. We stopped in for some sandwiches and a drink. We have a large dog. It is warm outside and our dog is one that is very furry. I asked for a cup of ice to put water in for our dog to have a drink. The cashier said she could sell one for$ .10. No problem until she brought out this tiny little cup. I asked for a bigger one, she brought another almost as small for$ .64. I informed her we had a large dog. She said she would have to ask. She came back with an ice cream cup. I offered to pay for a large cup, the... More...

  • Dairy queen

We eat at the Dairy Queen in Mitchell. We ordered a cheese burger and a deluxe hamburger plus a cherry malt. When we got out order the hamburgers were/nt warm enought to melt the cheese even a little. I told the girl that they should warm the hamburgers more. She said okay. I'm not sure what was wrong with the malt. It melted so fast it turned in to a watery liquid. I don't seem to have that problem when I visit the DQ's in Sioux Falls. All in all we will never stop at the DQ in Mitchell, SD again. Bad experience. Thanks. More...

  • Not for the common folk

I was astounded at the prices at my local Dairy Queen in Eagan, MN. We ordered supper for 2 people (sandwich, burger, fries, 1 med. ice coffee, 1 med. blizzard) and it was $22! That is as much as going out to a sit-down dinner! Or a year ago it was. The "medium" size blizzard comes in a cup 4 1/2 inches tall. I thought it was the mini-size but was told that was the medium. What cheapskates! I know restaurants and fast food places have to pay more for food just like we all do and they are jacking up the prices or cutting down the quantity but $4.50 (about) for a little bitty... More...
