#1Evansville, Indiana(5200 Division St.) & #2Newburgh, Indiana DQ (8095 High Pointe Dr.),
My Husband and I visited #1 location today (5-18-2017) around 12:45. We both ordered the $5.00 Chicken Strip Basket lunch deal. Opted to take Sundae coupons just incase we did not want the ice cream after eating. No problem. The Gravy was nothing but milk flavored with pepper and was cold. I think a regular cup of milk would have been thicker. The fries were "maybe" a little warmer. We've tried a lot of times to tell counter / server help about cold food, but all you get is the, "well, I can try to see what can be done," answer. And it's just not at DQ. Now comes the ice cream part. We decided to get strawberry sundaes. When they were placed on the counter, the strawberries and such were all running over the container and my Husband asked if they could be re-made. The kid asked "what was wrong with them?" and my Husband replied, "what's good about them?" The kids attitude in making the statement and his look were far from possibly wanting to make my Husband happy. My Husband just said forget about the whole thing and Thanked him for the bad service. They looked horrible by what I consider thinking of DQ's standard. We returned home and I made a call to talk to that particular Restaurant Manager. For the most part of how I feel our conversation went, she was defending the employee. She stated that she heard of what was going on and as a Manager, she made no attempt to come out / up front to try to rectify unsatisfactory service. We just left and we will never be back to that location of DQ.

#2 - This Newburgh, Indiana location is just as bad. Food is NEVER above a temperature that I would feel uneasy to serve a 1 1/2 year old with. Most of the time if we order just a Blizzard, it will take about 10 minutes and by the time we get it, you need a straw. If I wanted a milk shake, that's what I would have ordered. Never enough help and if there is maybe to MUCH help, all they're doing is standing around or talking to friends. It will a LONGGGGGG time before deciding to go in this location.

It's pretty sad when #1, we could walk to the Newburgh location in about 3 minutes. DQ in general has good food. #2, the only DQ's that I think we would even consider right now about having a decent Hot chicken basket or a good blizzard are in Fort Branch, Ind. , Princeton, Ind. or even Owensboro, Ky. That is way to stupid to even think about to have to travel in order to get something that is basically right out your front door or 5 miles down the street.

I have worked retail and restaurant and I have thrown away or paid out of pocket to keep a happy customer. The Manager at the #1 location did offer to take our name for possible return to compensate our lunch amount, but I don't want anything to do with that location. A Manager did comp us a meal at one time at the #2 location, but it was the same ole, same ole luke cold items.

Not very satisfied with this Company as a whole right now. When we call a restaurant to let them know or if staff asks while we are there about how things are, we Do Not want freebies. It's because after a while, when you only have about 5 or 6 places to choose from, you would really like to branch out and be able to go to more places for a change up.

same here, the Dairy Queen in Farmersville , Texas seems to pride themselves in serving cold food. They never bring the food out until it has sat in the window at least 5 minutes usually longer. Not even 15 miles away in Greenville Txcas , they always serve hot and fresh!Every time I go to the Farmersville store I say it is my last time , today is so the very last time,They are hopeless.
